Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms apply to tutorsala.com and the Tutorsala platform, operated by [Business or legal name], [registered address] ("Tutorsala", "we", "us"). By using Tutorsala you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
1. The service
Tutorsala is software for running a tuition center: enquiries, batches and schedules, attendance, homework, fees and invoices, parent communication, a family portal and a public marketplace listing. Teaching itself happens in your classes or on tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.
2. Accounts
- A tuition center ("center") registers an account and adds its admins, teachers and families.
- Keep passwords private. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
- The center is responsible for the accuracy of what it records, and for having the consent of parents or guardians to record students' details.
3. Pilot and subscription
- New centers may get a free pilot (currently 30 days). We may change or end pilot offers for new sign-ups.
- After the pilot, the platform fee is charged per year as shown on our pricing at the time of purchase. Branch add-ons and student limits apply as listed. GST is extra where applicable.
- Fees are paid in advance and are not refundable for a partly used period, except where the law requires it or we agree in writing.
- If payment is overdue, we may limit the account after giving notice by email.
4. Tuition fees between centers and families
Centers collect tuition fees directly from families, on their own UPI or bank account. Tutorsala shows invoices and payment notes but does not hold or transfer this money, and is not part of any fee agreement between a center and a family.
5. Marketplace
- Centers decide what to publish and are responsible for it being true: center details, teacher profiles, certificates and results.
- Parent reviews must be honest and about the parent's own experience. Centers may hide a review; we may remove content that breaks these terms.
- An enquiry sent through the marketplace goes to that center. Any admission is agreed between the family and the center.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Tutorsala to send spam or unwanted messages, upload unlawful or harmful content, try to access other centers' data, interfere with the service or its security, or copy or resell it.
7. Connected services
Centers can connect their own WhatsApp Business or AI accounts. Those services have their own terms and charges, which the center accepts with that provider.
8. Your data
Centers own the records they put into Tutorsala. They can export them while the account is active, and for 90 days after it ends. After that we may delete them, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Tutorsala available and secure, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Tutorsala is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost enrolments. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees the center paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Ending the service
A center may stop using Tutorsala at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [city] have jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most issues can be sorted out quickly.
